We did it! We made it through all eleventy billion days of 2020. I’m so glad to see the back of this year and only a little anxious about what shenanigans 2021 has in store. (Please be chill, 2021. Please.)
In 2019, I wrote 251,200 words over 4 books.
In 2020, I wrote… wait for it… 4 books and
326,343 words!
Holy cow.
Plus 4 short stories and released 5 books in audio. That last one snuck in at the last minute, too. So despite that fact that nearly every day was a struggle to turn off the news, turn off my anxiety and be creative, I did it. I wrote my longest book ever (Tail, Dark and Handsome) and even slipped in a few shorts, which are notoriously difficult for me to write. I don’t want to say too much about what I have planned for 2021. It feels like tempting fate at this point.
Lorran is in the works now. What’s after that? I honestly have no idea.
Abduct ME SFRCon, a virtual event, is in February. https://www.facebook.com/groups/abductmesfrcon
If Simply Romance in June is not cancelled and I get a vaccine, I plan to attend. Those are my only plans.
And more books will be coming to audio! I listened to the finished audio of Kalen yesterday (sooooo good) and Mylomon and Vox are already scheduled to be recorded.
